These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of CaricatureMe ("the App"), developed by Futuron Inc.
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service and Paid Access
CaricatureMe uses artificial intelligence to generate stylized caricature illustrations from photos and customization text. The App has a hard paywall and no free generation tier. An active paid subscription is required after onboarding, AI data-sharing consent, and entitlement verification.
AI Data Sharing and Consent
To generate an image, your selected photo and customization text are transmitted through Cloudflare to OpenAI. You must agree to this processing before an AI request can be made. You may revoke consent at any time in Settings by turning off AI Photo Sharing; new AI requests will remain blocked until you agree again. See the Privacy Policy for provider and retention details.
Subscriptions
- Available subscription duration, localized price, and any introductory offer are shown by Apple's StoreKit before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm a purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can restore purchases in the App and manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your Photos and Other People
You represent that you own or have permission to use every photo you submit. Do not upload a photo of another person without their informed permission, or use the App to impersonate, deceive, harass, exploit, or violate another person's privacy or publicity rights.
AI-Generated Content
- AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, biased, or may not preserve a person's likeness.
- Generated images are for entertainment and creative use, not identity verification or professional advice.
- You are responsible for reviewing generated content before saving, publishing, or sharing it.
- Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use images generated from content you were authorized to submit.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Create illegal, abusive, threatening, exploitative, sexually explicit, or harmful content.
- Create deceptive impersonations or content intended to defraud or mislead.
- Infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, trademark, or other rights.
- Upload content involving a minor in an inappropriate or exploitative context.
- Use automated systems, reverse engineer the service, bypass access controls, or evade rate limits.
Availability and Enforcement
We may reject requests, limit usage, suspend access, or discontinue features to protect people, providers, and the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, generation time, output quality, or exact likeness.
Intellectual Property
The App, its software, branding, and original design are owned by Futuron Inc. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or rights belonging to third parties.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Futuron Inc disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the App changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
